This ain’t just a headline – it’s fact.  We’re 24 hours away from “The Beginning” and two of our fighters are stuck in the Republic of Ireland due to the Volcanic cloud hovering over Blighty.

But as the saying goes…”the show must go on”.  Matt Wise, in fighting fit form will square up to Clinic Middle Weight Champion Dan Hine, who is stepping up with just 24 hours notice.  Dan is a formidable opponent – the only Boxing Clinic Contender to date to defend his belt and although this fight is not for a belt (you’ll have to wait until June 3^rd for that) it promises to be a good one.

From disruptions to eruptions…let’s hope the boys keep it together for their weigh-ins.  And so they did.  A full house, a few feeling faint (lol) and now I expect they’re loading up on pasta and rehydrating as I type.

If tomorrow’s atmosphere is anything like the buzz in the gym today then it’s gonna be a fight night to remember.
