Big congrautulations to the MMA Clinic/New State Academy BJJ Team who entered the 2009 Kent Open . It was the first BJJ tournament the Club entered and a huge thank you to our BJJ Coach Michael Russell who has put the BJJ Team together in just 5 months and, got the boys to a standard to enter the tournament and do really well ….The Team consisted of : Tony White , Charlie Watts , Ben Vickers, Tim Chadwick , Ashley Grimshaw, Bola Omoyele .
All the boys won fights, some won more then others but over all they all did really well and made there presesent felt. 
Bola Omoyele won the Gold medal in his weight division , and Ashley Grimshaw won the Bronze medal in his weight division
