The MMA Clinic does Brighton. Sunday September 20th 2009.
It’s early, it’s Sunday and by rights everyone should still be bundled in bed. But this is no ordinary Sunday, it’s the day when months of training are put to the test as six of the MMA Clinic’s best, head down to Brighton for their first competitive tournament as a squad.

Adam is hard-core. Well he would have to be hanging out with Ben Woods. First impressions are of a shy, young guy but then I find out that he’s had 15 competitive muay thai fights – a couple for UK titles and 6 fights in Thailand, in some of their biggest stadiums as well as on Thai TV.
It was the fourth Contender night and there were two things on our minds – pulling and punching. As I’m not one for gossip, I’m not sure how successful the pulling was but take it from me the punching was perfection.
